If we were having coffee, I would tell you I have been hibernating a bit lately because the weather has not been good for walking. Just going out for errands or appointments. Read in the weather reports we are supposed to have thunderstorms but so far only a few sprinkles of rain over our area.

We have had humidity. I did take a walk yesterday when it was 92F, but with humidity my weather app told me it felt like 100F.
The weather app is predicting a storm for tomorrow. We will see. In the meantime, I need to take a ‘digital break.’

Above wallpaper from interesting article in Washington Post Wellness section by Hannah Good, ‘Need a break? Take one with this digital reststop,’ about taking a break from negative digital media by focusing on relaxing images.
Stream of Consciousness Saturday is hosted by Linda G Hill. The prompt for today is ‘wallpaper.’

Weekend Coffee Share is hosted by Natalie at Natalie the Explorer.

Thank you for your weekend coffee share. I hope you get the rain you need and more comfortable weather soon. Enjoy your break!

It’s either drought or flood lately. Hoping for the just right amount for everyone.

High humidity is normal here in NC. When we have a day with low humidity, it’s wonderful. Sounds like you are taking good care of yourself. Good plan with the relaxing images!

It must be hard to cope with that kind of heat. I can spend too much time looking at news and stories on the internet. It’s better to remind myself to take breaks.

Enjoy your breaks! Remember the days before internet even existed.

It’s hard to remember that. It has become such a big part of our lives.

I hope you get a break from the humidity and some rain (I know how that sounds). We have been in a sauna for two weeks. It’s not uncommon her in July and August, but it’s gross. A break from negative digital content sounds ideal. I’d like a permanent break from that.

It must be hard to function in that weather. We have it here and no rain yet. A permanent break from the negative sounds good.

We put a couple projects on hold. 95 degrees and high humidity, it’s just not worth it.

It tires me out if I am out walking in it. Hope it breaks soon.

I live in the PNW and while we don’t have the humidity, our temps have been higher than normal and it’s too much for me. My happy place is mid to upper 70’s, maybe low 80’s. No Coffee share for me this week. I just couldn’t get it together but wanted to visit everyone.

July was unusually pleasant in Los Angeles but I am bracing for even warmer weather. Maybe it’s a precursor for a hot September.

Enjoy the great weather. Fall can still be warm or hot in Southern California.
