If we were having coffee, I would tell you that the events in Eastern Europe have made my own life’s worries seem small. Watching news reports here about what is unfolding. Sheer madness. I hope my country is supporting Ukraine as much as possible. The Ukrainians and their leaders are so brave.

Sometimes it feels like a perpetual ride on the same merry-go-round. Different scenery and horses, but the same ride. The same prayers.

This time seems particularly egregious with echos in the worst times of the past for sure.

It’s horrible. There really are no words and I don’t know how to help.

Yes, it is horrible. I only hope our government and others can supply enough support.

The news from Ukraine is awful. I’m trying to balance my need to be I formed with my need to stay sane.

I check the news every day and cling to the good bits of news when it comes.

It’s horrible and crazy. I’m doing my best to keep my spirits up and keep the hope that there is a future. But it’s difficult.

There is a future because bad guys don’t win forever.

Amen Deb to your thoughts above.
I doubt wars will ever be far away from politics.
Trusting our government to do what’s right ?
I think that would take more faith than I have.
so sad!

It is frustrating to see this terrible war and I want to believe that the government is making a good faith effort to deal with it.

The entire thing is awful and yet so moving. Watching the little guys take on the big ones and people fight for their country is history in the making. I pray that they win

We get to see how terrible war is. Especially when it is aimed at civilians. We have seen this before in the past several years. I hope this will be the last time, and end soon, but I fear it can happen again.

Whenever human kind is involved in something… there will be war.

I don’t want to accept that. We have to do better.

I too am impressed by the courage of the Ukranian people and their leaders. I heard on the news that a few Russians are deserting, not many, but I hope and pray more have the courage to stop fighting. The Ukrainians however will not give up.

Me too. I had to stop watching the news commentators for a bit. Our country has to figure out the best way to help those people and help stop the war.
