“It was something like a ring of rusty iron or brass and when the robin flew up into a tree nearby she put out her hand and picked the ring up. It was more than a ring, however; it was an old key which looked as if it had been buried a long time.”-The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
Still one of my favorite books, ‘The Secret Garden.’ It would be so magical to find the key to my own secret garden. I would spend hours there enjoying nature hidden away from the troubles of the world.
Stream of Consciousness Saturday, #SOCS, is hosted by Linda G Hill. The prompt word for today is ‘key.’
One of my favourite books too.

I got rid of most all my books with regret. I’d enjoy reading this one again.

I bought it thinking I would give it away and I still have it. I give you permission to buy yourself a copy. 🙂
