‘Alea iacta est’ (the die is cast), I heard someone say recently. And who knows what the future brings. We sail on troubled waters and hope for the best, but if we keep our faith in what’s right, we will come through it all just fine. Just feeling the butterflies in my stomach from the turmoil in the country and some personal stress too. A bit tired to write more.
Stream of Consciousness Saturday, #SOCS, is hosted by Linda G Hill. Dan Antion is hosting this Saturday while Linda is away. The prompt for today is “ent” “ten” “net.” Use one, use two or use all three (bonus points for using two, double-bonus points for using all three).
Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, used the phrase ‘alea iacta est’ yesterday when she announced that the US House of Representatives will begin the formal impeachment inquiry against our President.

Well I lived through an impeachment when I was younger and we survived that. Thanks Beth.

These are troubled times. We’ve come thorough such trouble before; I hope we’ve retained our resiliency. Thanks for joining the prompt Deborah. I hope you have a nice weekend.

I hope we have resiliency too. I think we do but it is difficult going through it. Have a nice weekend too.

Keeping our faith in what’s right, we will come through it all just fine. We can focus on what we know for sure, the constants that have always been there for us, seeing us through every challenge. I’m sending prayers and good thoughts of you coming out the other side, strong and well.
