This is Stream of Consciousness Saturday hosted by Linda G. Hill. The prompt for today is ‘up/down.’
We’ve had lots of ups and downs here lately. The temperature gage has gone up and down for the past 2 weeks. I now know we can manage survive 120 degree F weather. The water levels in the states reservoirs have decreased due to dearth of rain. But we had some rain here in the desert this past Wednesday which was a welcome change. The grapefruit tree definitely appreciated the extra moisture. I learned about a large reservoir for Southern California that will help provide water for the dry times. But the rivers and streams of the state are so dry that that baby salmon had to be transported to the San Francisco Bay. The temperatures hear are headed up this weekend but will be down again next week.

Stay well… Prayers for all as temps climb and water levels drop. ❤ 🙏

Woa, that’s awful. I thought we’d get a heatwave too here in the UK but so far it’s more typically British 🤗

Well I think we got through the highest temps so we know we can handle it with air conditioning. Thanks for stopping by, Bee.

It’s pretty dry but it will get better. Have to keep working on global warming. I love my home state and all its beauty.

I admire your positive attitude – knowing you will get through this. It’s great that they moved all those salmon.

I am feeling positive. It was pretty resourceful to move those salmon. Got to figure out how to share the water resources better here with droughts.
