‘Collect moments not things’
Karen Salmansohn
I don’t collect things like I may have in the past. I prefer to travel light now. The few things I hang on to are family photos and a few special greeting cards or letters. If you have a lot of stuff it adds to the clutter in your house and in your mind.
Stream of Consciousness Saturday, #SOCS, is hosted by Linda G Hill The prompt word for today is ‘collect.’
Featured image is of my elephant collection.

Thanks for sharing a good though. I’ve collected too many things in my time.

I am hoping to whittle away the stuff we have brought to our new house so it is all put away or put out of the house. 😀 Thanks for stopping by, Dan.

That’s a beautiful collection of elephants Deborah. Glad Ganesh is there among them … I agree with the thought that too much clutters the mind ..

I read that Glad Ganesh is supposed to bring luck with money. I think I just liked him because he was an elephant. I hope to get rid of more clutter around here but not the elephants. Thanks for stopping by, Susan.

There’s a lot to be said for traveling light. Going through my parents’ things taught me that. I’m still working on it.

I think of that too. The kids are left with it.
