Spotted this rockin’ grandma on Senior Planet. She has some good advice for us all.
But my one liner is from David Horsey of the LA Times:
“It is not as if the 2016 presidential election campaign needed a single plot twist more to make it the most bizarre series of political events since Caligula tried to appoint his horse as consul of Rome.”
He is referring to the latest revelations from James Comey about emails found on Anthony Weiner’s computer. And how it has disrupted the last week before the election. I say Mema is right. We need to be sure to vote!
One Liner Wednesday is hosted by Linda G Hill.
I choose “none of the above.”

It is important to vote whichever way you choose. And I think the video is saying there are many issues on the ballet. In California we have several propositions and senate race among other things.

Exactly. There are far more important things on the ballot than who gets to live in the White House the next four years.

Well I do care who is in the White House but I do not want to get into an argument. I hope that people will not be so polarized. And then there is the issue of people hacking into emails and leaking. That needs to be addressed. We can not go on with that happening.

I did the early voting thing for the first time. It’s actually a relief to get it done. Now I can tell telephone campaigners, “I already voted!”

That must be a relief, to have the voting behind you. I do not think we have early voting other than absentee ballets in California. I will be going to my voting place on Nov 8. I always feel like I have done something good after I vote. 🙂
