A fly, Sir, may sting a stately horse and make him wince; but one is but an insect, and the other is a horse still.

“Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.” –Robert A. Heinlein
I do like cats an awful lot. Our cat died a few years ago. It was originally my daughter’s cat. Well you know how it goes. The daughter goes away to college and the cat became my cat. I became very attached to the cat. Her name was Angel. It was very hard when she died.
Cats do have interesting personalities like all animals. I don’t agree with people who say cats are so independent that they do not care about people. Angel did not bond with everyone. She would not slobber all over you. But she did bond with me and my daughter very much. I think cats know if you are a cat person or not. They can be easily frightened by people. Once they trust you they will be your friend. Just like us.
I liked the quote. Thought it is fun.
Something to think about. Do you think this is true? What does this quote mean to you? |LINDAGHILL|
