I do love word games like ‘Spelling Bee’ or Wordle. I like the challenge of trying to find words with a certain amount of letters. I like it when I can think of lots of words with the same endings or similar sounds, when the suffixes are the same like -ion.
I do like my own language, American English. English is made up of words from many different countries though. And I do like learning about word origins.
It’s harder for me to learn new words these days. I attribute this in part to sleep deprivation. But maybe the new words are not as comforting to me as the ones I already have tucked away in my brain.

Thank you. I feeling a bit rusty but starting to loosen up. I have missed writing.

Yes, I shut my blog down for about a year because I was just burned out. But, I also missed blogging, and I recently found out part of that is because I’m something called a “verbal processor.” Who knew? But, mainly I just like writing. Again, welcome back. WP is as buggy as ever.

I got burned out for a time too. Lately life has burned me out a bit too. I thought my brain dried up for my writing.

PS. I forgot that I changed my screen name. I used to post under M. Oniker. The blog is still the same, “WTF Am I On About Now?” 🙂

I love Wordle too. I don’t do the rest because I’d be doing them all day.

I just do them in the morning usually but I do go back to add words on the Spelling Bee if I think of more.

i absolutely love it, because from some reason patterns and connections come somewhat easily to me. also crosswords and sudoku, but i cannot do wordle or a word scramble to save my soul )

Interesting. I have more trouble with crosswords especially with pop culture references and the clues can see more like riddles to me. I think I am more literal.
