There are several issues that are pressing right now. Important issues that are in the cross hairs of this new administration. Could this be a strategy, attack on several fronts, divide people into different camps? It can be overwhelming. Healthcare, Social Security, Medicare, the Environment, women’s control over their bodies and reproductive health, Education, and Immigration. Did I leave anything out? Preservation of our National Parks, our protected open spaces, is one of my priorities. What’s yours?

It’s scary. What I’m wondering is, are there any plans to replace any of the environmental programs being eliminated or does he just want to leave it up to the private sector?

Who knows what the plan is. I have read it is to open up the protected lands to more fossil fuel development. Right now the request is for a review of what is protected now. Thankfully, environmental groups will not take this laying down.The Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke, was asked to make the review by the administration. It seems like this battle must be fought over and over.
