I loved watching Laurel and Hardy when I was little. Still do. The ability to make people laugh is such a gift. And comedians are a gift to the world. Sharing a couple of laughs with you today.
Thanks to Dave Barry. I spotted this on his blog this morning sent in by one of his readers:
AS FORETOLD IN THE OLD TESTAMENT
Beach closed off after huge hole opens up shooting SNAILS into the sky ‘like a geyser’
THEY CAN ALSO BE MISTAKEN FOR CAMELS
Man mistakenly raises ‘puppies’ for two years – before finding out they’re black bears
I really needed this laugh. Reminds me how important it is to find something to smile and laugh about, especially in current times.
That’s funny. Unfortunately, if I were the 2nd man, my wife would want to keep the bears.

Your wife is a brave woman. I think bears as pets are a bit intimidating for me. 🙂

Agreed! Indeed, those with the gift of comic timing are gems! I love Netflix especially because I can search the comedy shows of known and budding comedians…it’s a way to get an instant laugh! Oh, and Dave Barry…he’s funny…I like the article about the man who thought the black bears were dogs…What a shock when his livestock disappeared!!
Cheers to you, my friend…Sending you lots of joy and happiness 🙂

Thanks Lia for your sweet wishes. Good tip about Netflix. Finding this from Dave Barry’s blog has got me thinking I need to look for more humor online because it does lift me up and feels good to laugh. Important for our well-being. 🙂

There are lots of comedies and stand-up comedians that I watch on Netflix when I need a pick-me-up. Also, on YouTube, there are stand-up comedians’ clips too…I remember Dave Barry on TV some years ago…He’s great.
Hope your Tuesday is going well and sending you all my best from sunny NYC!

Thanks Lia. Good wishes to you from sunny California! Yes on You Tube. One of favorites is Amy Schumer. I have read Dave Barry’s books and he always makes me laugh. 🙂

I have actually never watched Laurel and Hardy! They have been on my to-watch list for a while. Thanks 🙂

They were so good together. Hope you enjoy watching them. They did a lot of “slap stick” which is a kind of physical comedy.

They were hilarious and I grew up with them on the telly making the family laugh aloud.

I watched them on TV when I was little too. I remember my grandmother laughing and she really liked them as well.

I’m with Dan’s wife. After two years, I’d be tempted to keep the bears too.
