“The only time to eat diet food is while you’re waiting for the steak to cook.”–Julia Child
I recently discovered this delicious pepper. Very tasty on steak when freshly ground on top before grilling. I think it would taste good on lamb as well. Telllicherry pepper comes from the southern coast of India. It is very fragrant and has a ” robust, pungent, fruity flavor” per the container’s description from Costco.
Some more information about the different types of pepper from Dana Angelo White on Food Network .
Do you have any favorite recipes with Tellicherry pepper?
I like boneless Rib Eye steaks for grilling, which are usually very tender.
I’ve never heard of it, but it looks fantastic!

How do you grill your fish?

I think fish is harder to grill for us because it can fall apart. But you can get special pans or cedar plank. If it is a solid piece of fish we are usually into butter and lemon. How do you grill yours?

I tried the pans, too mushy. I want to try the plank next.

I think I have been missing out on all these great flavors. Do you like hot like spicy flavors?

Yes I do, but I like spices and I use many and not all need to be hot, just spicey.

It is best to buy the whole peppercorns because it is fresher, from what I am learning 🙂

Oh thanks… I’d need a pepper mill but it would be worth it: )

Well I did see it from Costco in its own little pepper mill bottle, so you might be able to find it with its own peppermill 🙂
