When I was growing up we ate Campbell’s Soup. My father said my younger brother and I looked like the Campbell’s Soup Kids.
One of their soups I liked was Cream of Celery. There are recipes online for making fresh Cream of Celery Soup and other cream of, (some type of vegetable), soups. They look and sound good, especially for cold winter days. Do you have a favorite?
Here’s another one:
My daughter bought the ingredients to make cream of fennel soup. I’m getting hungry.

Yummy! I make soup with lots of vegetables in it, so it’s definitely not creamy, but it’s wholesome and delicious xxx

I like fresh homemade soups and my daughter is really good at making them. Soups with vegetables and chicken stock base are very delicious too. xo

My wife makes a leftovers meal with cream of celery soup, Turkey/chicken and noodle. My favorite comfort food.

I remember using the canned soup in recipes as well. My husband and I have used canned clam chowder as a sauce before. The creamy-ness makes it like a cream sauce.

Those Campbell’s soup recipes were a staple in my earlier years. Cream of mushroom was a good one, too.

I’ve used that one too. It is tasty as a soup as well.

I shudder at the thought of cream of celery, but yes, we also grew up with Campbell’s. Lots of cream of —— something recipes. As much as I love homemade chicken noodle soup, there’s a special spot of a can of Campbell’s chicken noodle, salt and all.
