I love reading books. And I spotted this new Reading Challenge on DebraB’s blog, BookingIt. Well I like her name and the challenge. 😀 (We share the same first name but spell it differently.) So this is my official sign up page for the Books and Chocolates Back to the Classics Challenge 2017. You can click on the link to see the rules if you’re interested. And who doesn’t like the idea of booking it and books and chocolates.

Oh wow. I like this challenge, a lot. When I first started reading it, I was grumbling at it, but as I read through it, it makes sense. I would join up in a minute, but I hate committing to things I have no hopes of completing. I’m definitely going to think about it, though. We have until March to sign up.

Yes, well I thought I would try it. I don’t think we have to worry if we can’t complete it for some reason. We just won’t win any prizes. 🙂

I noticed in the blog post for the 2016 winner that more than 150 signed up and *37* finished, which makes me feel a lot better! :::kinda giggling at my fear of commitment issues:::

Yeah, don’t stress about it for sure. It makes me nervous to be reviewing books. I am not a professional reviewer or even an English major but I feel I will just try not to stress about that either. 🙂

Yay! I’m glad you signed up. I’m going to try to do better this year than last year (when I basically stopped blogging in Februrary. Whoops!)

Thanks, Debra. It was very tempting to sign up. Now I will try to keep up with it. I know blogging can get to be a big commitment. I was glad to see you blog back on my Reader page. 🙂
