Rainy Day Tuesday

It is raining in Southern California today and will continue on and off through the night. I have decided to start visiting my followers blogs today and some of my frequent readers. I think this will take more than one morning. It is something that has been on my mind to do. So my post is brief today. I am mulling over my posting schedule and will be deciding my topics. So stay tuned.

Good day for Southern Californians to snuggle up with a warm drink and put on a sweater. Those who have to be out driving, be careful. People tend to drive a bit crazy in rainy weather don’t you think?

Cold with a “wintry mix” coming here. Temps in the low 30’s today but recovering into the 40’s later this week. Enjoy the rain, I’m guessing that any place in California needs rain these days.

Yes we really need the rain. I do hope we get more this winter. It can get in the 30s in the winter where I live which is a bit north of LA. But usually stays a bit warmer than that. I don’t like going out when it is so cold outside. Bundle up.

We’ve been in the low 20’s and high teens for a short snap. We will see more of that and single-digit days. A few of us walk about 1/2 mile for coffee in the morning. We will usually go regardless of the temp, but the wind is a show stopper. I hope you guys pull out of the drought.

I bet it feels odd to have the NaBloPoMo challenge over, doesn’t it, Deborah? Someday I am going to accept a blogging challenge and finish it on time: it must be so gratifying 🙂 Enjoy your reading, and I will stay tuned.

Thanks Sandi. Glad you are staying tuned. It does feel odd to have the challenge over. Some of my daily posts were short or quotes. So I think it is doable. It was good to get into some of the smaller groups like Nano Poblano. The bigger sites are a bit overwhelming for me.

Well, you did need this rain, Deborah. And we are enjoying some lovely sunshine for a change. Hubby and I are just back from a fabulous meal with our American friend, with whom we discussed lots of interesting things related to America. Warmest wishes, Anna xxx

The rain can be a pain. In the snow, please drive slow …

I must be getting old. I have to rhyme like Dr. Seuss to remember my driving tips, Deborah.

Enjoy your rainy SoCal day, my friend. It’s snowing here in Syracuse. We just got dinner, and I’m catching up with my friends’ blogs with the Syracuse-Michigan college basketball game on TV … Comfy.

Thanks Mark. Dr. Seuss is good. I had to go out late this afternoon to tutor but I avoided the freeway. Snowing. So it is heading into winter in your neck of the woods for sure. Be safe as well if you have to be out in it. Glad you a settled in for the evening. 🙂
